Animals are such an important part of the world from the biggest elephant to the tiniest bug. They help us out in so many ways. Dogs are our buddies, cows give us milk, chickens give us eggs and bees help plants make flowers and fruits.

March is about cleaning and being clean…and green!

Debi Derryberry and I love to make things clean. We know that washing hands is very important. When you wash your hands, sing Debi’s “ABC Song” 2 times and that will give you enough time to get clean! Remember to turn off the water as soon as you are finished to conserve water.

I like to keep my room tidy and neat so I can easily find any toy I am looking for. Don’t forget to turn your light off when you leave your room so you don’t waste electricity.

Friends & Buddies

When I wake up on those special days that I get to be with my friends, I hop right out of bed! I always have fun with my friends. We explore the jungle together and play great games like building a fort and “Hide and Seek.” My friend Oodle the Orangutan is great at “Hide and Seek”–she knows lots of places to hide.

My friends also take care of me. Leon the Chameleon and I wanted to take a hike into the jungle. Leon said we should do it another day because it might rain. At first I was mad at Leon for spoiling my fun. Later, when it began to rain hard, I was glad I he was watching out for me.

Sharing is something that I am just learning about. Sometimes it is hard for me to share because I am afraid that my friends might break or lose my things if I share them. But I know that I love it when my friends share with me. The more I practice the better I get! And it does make me feel really good inside, and Momma Duck and Daddy Gorilla always tell me how proud they are of me when I share. I’m gonna be the best sharer ever!
